First Nations House - Academic advising
First Nations House – Indigenous Student Services offers culturally supportive academic advising to both undergraduate and graduate students on all three campuses. We can help with any of the following: personalized one-on-one appointments booked through Folio, assistance with academic planning, advocacy with other U of T departments, referrals to all U of T Student Life programs, pre-admission support, assistance in applying to graduate school. Whether you are an incoming or returning student, we can help you transition into student life and feel secure in your choices and surroundings.
Community of Support (CoS)

The Community of Support (COS) program exists as a collaborative initiative with the goal of increasing the number of students that are Indigenous, Black, Filipino, Latin American, economically disadvantaged, non-traditional (ie mature students) or who self-identify with having a disability in Temerty Medicine's academic programs (MD, PT, OT, MRS, PA, etc.) and in similar programs across Canada. If you are looking for support and community in the next steps of your academic career, this is the place for you! These programs are open to any college or university student (from any college or university) and to college and university graduates.
COSMOS
REGISTRATION: CLOSED
The University of Toronto Temerty Faculty of Medicine COSMOS program is a two-part interactive writing workshop for the medical school application cycle. The workshops are designed to strengthen an applicant's knowledge of how to develop content, structure, and revise their medical school application. The program also consists of a peer-review component, in which students are able to provide and receive feedback on the autobiographical sketch (ABS) drafts and essays anonymously.
